Archer Push-Up: how to do it and form tips

An advanced push-up where one arm bends fully while the other stays straight, mimicking a single-arm push-up with a stability assist. Builds unilateral chest strength.

Form tips

  1. Set hands wide — about 1.5x shoulder width — and shift weight toward the bending arm.
  2. The straight arm acts as a guide only; all pressing force is from the bent-arm side.
  3. Control the descent slowly and push explosively back to the start.
