Cable Upright Row: how to do it and form tips

A cable version of the upright row using a rope or bar on a low pulley. The cable's constant tension improves the resistance curve and keeps the delts loaded at the bottom.

Form tips

  1. Use a rope or straight bar on the low pulley and stand close to the stack.
  2. Pull to chest height with elbows traveling up and out.
  3. Don't pull above chin height — that's where shoulder impingement risk rises.
